IIFT exam 2014:Important Instructions for candidates

The Indian Institute of Foreign trade(IIFT) organise the entrance examination for Master of Business administration in international business(MBA IB) is to be conducted from 10 am to 12 noon Sunday, November 23, 2014. New Delhi and Kolkata campuses of IIFT offered to the candidate for full time, two years residential MBA IB.

Pattern of exam:

The Indian Institute of foreign trade(IIFT) admission test would be multiple choice objective type in written test (in English). Some different sections take English comprehension, general knowledge & awareness, logical reasoning and quantitative analysis covered by the consists questions in exam.

Time Duration:

Time duration of the exam will be 2 hours.

Procedure of selection:

The final selection of the students for the MBA IB would be based on written test, group discussion(GD), Essay writing(EW) and personal interview(PI). Firstly the student give written exam and the short listed candidates invites in the second phase on the basis of the marks obtained in the written test. In the second phase of the selection process consisting of the group discussion, Essay writing, personal interview will be conducted in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai canters during January/February 2015.

Centre for development of advanced computing(C-DAC) common admissionn test(C_CAT) will be conducted by Bangalore on 7 December 2014 and 14 December 2014. For taking admission to post graduate Diploma(PGD), C-CAT is conducted in Geoinformatics, Advanced computing, wireless & mobile computing, system software development, IT infrastructure, system and security, Embedded system design, VLSI design, Integrated VLSI & Embedded system design and automation & SCADA system for the session February 2015.

Eligibility Criteria Exam:

Candidate must be a graduate in B.tech/BE/ B.Sc/ AMIE etc in computer science, Electrical engineering, IT and  Candidate must be post graduate in Engineering Science e.g. M.Sc (CS,IT,EC etc).

Some changing of CAT(Common Admission Test) 2014

The schedule of CAT(Common Admission Test) 2014 is to be organised from next week 16 November 2014 and 22 November 2014. The Indian institute of management(IIM) will organise the exam this year.The exam was conducted over a period of 22 days but this year exam will conduct two days.



Some changes of CAT examination in this year:

In the CAT(Common Admission Test) examination has various changes in this year, the duration time of examination will be 170 minutes (the duration time is increased 30 minutes). Against of 30 questions in each section, there will be 50 questions in each section in this year.Also aspirants have the liberty to attempt any section and they can switch over from the section to another according to their choice. An on-screen timer will mark the remaining minutes for the test.

Some changes in marking scheme:

Changes for each correct answer: In this year the maximum number of CAT 2014 will be 300 since the total number of question will be 100. The text will be divided into two sections, the first section covered 50 question and second section also covered the 50 question.
Two sections are:
  1. Quantitative ability(QA) and Data Interpretation(DI) 
  2. Verbal ability(VA) and Logical reasoning(LR)  
Changes for each incorrect answer: One point will be deducted, which applies one-third negative rule.
          If the aspirant has not sure for the question that the answer is correct so the aspirant should leave the  question because there is no panalty for those questions which are left unanswered but there is the panalty for the wrong answer of. the question.

Four colors will display on the right side of the questions:
  1. Green- Answered Question
  2. Red- Unanswered Question
  3. White- Question not viewed
  4. Violet- Question mark for review

CAT vouchers discontinued:

Offline vouchers is not be sold for CAT. To register for CAT 2014 candidate will have to apply at www.iimcat.ac in 6 August to 30 August.

Selection of three cities:

During CAT registration the candidates allowed to select any 3 cities out of 99 cities. A far as possible the candidate will be alloted for 1 city but in case the seat is full on the 1 city so the candidate allow the second city.

If the candidate are sure for the answer of given question so they can press the green button, if the candidate do not know the answer of question and they want to left the question so they can press the red button, If the question is not visible by the candidate so they can press while button and the last if candidate repeated the answer of one question so they press the violet button.
                                                                       While the candidate answering the question they can press save and next button to save their question and go to the next question can press save and next question and as so on. If the candidate want to change the answer of question so they can clear the already selected answer option and given the again answer for that question.If candidate want to devote some more time to the question but wishes to get back to them at the end mark for review and next button can be pressed.
The submit button is available for the completion time of test when the submit button is clicked the system is accepted the confirm submission. The system will also display summary of the attempted of candidate.

IIT JEE online application process

IIT JEE commonly called as JEE main.The Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) is an all indian common entrance examination conduct to provide admission in various engineering cources. Pattern of paper:

Paper pattern is divided into two phases, phase1 will comprise Objective test and  Descriptive exam, while in phase2 there will be group discussion and interview.
